  • Frank, How much better blacks may have had it in this country than other slaves is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that they were enslaved in the first place. And there is absolutely no justifying it. What happened was wrong. Don't compare us to anywhere else. This is here. not there.

  • I agree with Bethie. and Larry, "Pro-choice" does on equate to "Pro-abortion" it's called pro-CHOICE. It simply means that it is your choice, as a mother, to CHOOSE whether or not your child is born.

  • What you guys don't realize, though, is that processed foods are ALWAYS going to have salt in them. They need it to keep the food preserved. There are low sodium versions of almost every major brand in the super market, but they don't last as long as the normally salted foods would.

  • Well that I can understand, there's nothing beneficial about soda. But if you have low blood sugar, it wouldn't help much if you were only allowed to by basic foods such as meats and grains that only helped with protein. Mr.

  • Using lemon juice or lime juice as marination also makes an excellent sub for salt :)

  • Salt causes your body to bloat. Simply increasing your water intake will neutralize the effects of a high-sodium diet. Frankly, I think there are other things to be worrying about besides how much salt someone prefers eating.
